Qualification Details:
Sports Quota – Level 5/4:
- Candidates must have a Graduation in any Discipline from a recognized University.
Sports Achievements/Eligibility Norms:
- Represented the country in the Olympic Games (Senior Category)
- At least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior) OR
- At least 3rd position in World Championships (Junior /Senior ) OR
- At least 3rd position in Asian Games (Senior) OR
- At least 3rd position in Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
- At least 3rd position in Youth Olympics OR
- At least 3rd position in Champions Trophy (Hockey) OR
- At least 3rd position in Davis Cup (Tennis) OR
- At least 3rd position in Thomas / Uber Cup (Badminton)
Sports Quota – Level 3/2:
- Candidates must have a 12th (#2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. OR Passed 10th from a recognized Board may also be eligible to be posted as Tech-III. However, the training period for appointees will be 03 years unless they pass /possess ITI in the relevant trade in which case it will be 06 months

- At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) OR
- Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country with at least 8th position in Senior National championships only
Notes:
- Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire a Typing proficiency Test of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment and to such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
- Candidates possessing higher qualifications should produce a graduation /Post graduation certificate at the time of trial
- No relaxation in minimum educational qualification shall be permissible in the case of Open Advertisement Recruitment.

Mode of Selection:
- All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks) shall be assessed for the next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee, will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
Application Fees:
- All candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disability/ Women/ Minorities and Economic Backward Class: Rs. 250/- with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges. Candidates in this category should check their eligibility thoroughly before applying. Fee in respect of candidates who are ineligible, but still apply, shall not be refunded.
