DETAILS OF ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS IN UPSC RECRUITMENT 2024
Qualification Details:
(i) Specialist Grade III (Cardiology):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in the field of MBBS with a graduate degree in Doctorate of Medicine in the field of Cardiology or a Diplomate of National Board in the field of Cardiology with three years of experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Specialist Grade III (Nephrology):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in the field of MBBS with Post Graduate Degree in Doctorate of Medicine in the field of Nephrology or a Diplomate of National Board in the field of Nephrology with three years of experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(iii) Specialist Grade III (Neuro-Surgery):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in the field of MBBS with Post Graduate Degree in Doctorate of Medicine in the field of Neuro-Surgery or a Diplomate of National Board in the field of Neuro-Surgery with three years of experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(iv) Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis & Respiratory medicine/pulmonary medicine):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in the field of MBBS with Post Graduate Degree in Doctorate of Medicine in the field of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases or Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases or Diplomate of National Board in the field of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases or Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases with three years of experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(v) Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in B.E or B.Tech in the field of Civil Engineering with three years of research experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(vi) Scientist ‘B’ (Earth Science):
- Candidates must have passed the Post Graduate Degree in the field of Earth Science or Geo-Physics Physics or Geology or Oceanography with three years of research experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(vii) Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering):
- Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in B.E or B. Tech in the field of Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with three years of research experience in the relevant field. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(viii) Assistant Director (Official Language):
- Candidates must have passed the Master’s Degree in M.A. in the field of Hindi or English with three years of experience in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa. or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
